I really love Sly Stone. I admire his courage; his band was in their hey day in not-so-integrated times, but he wasn't afraid to call his mixed band his family. Also, he rocks.

I invented a lot on this one; the original ref photo was of him holding a knife to his face. His hair took forever and I'm not too sure I'm pleased with the end result, but I really do love this sketch.

I wanted this one to be free; obviously, I was getting experimental with the colors. I didn't want to take this to a finished stage. I like the sketchiness.

Much to my dismay, she resembles Zooey Deschanel a great deal. I am not a fan of hers.

Sami Yaffa in various states of completion. I know him as the bassist for the reformed New York Dolls, but he's probably better known as the former bassist from Hanoi Rocks.

I'm trying to inject a little bit of age into him, especially around his mouth and eyes. He's not young anymore. Still amazing.

I think my best drawings are on notebook paper, or on the back of some important document. I also think that my most interesting work comes out of my head when I should be doing something important/else. This was yet another doodle done during my tutor training workshops.

Been far too long...

I did all of these during my workshops this morning. I have to go to these training sessions so I can tutor during the school year and earn a little money.

I dunno, some retarded kid.

This is an affectionate self portrait that I've drawn a couple times now. I call her the Al Doll.

Sorry, I was thinking of John Entwhistle. Also, I thought the stitched mouth gave the doll a sort of morbid look, hence a zombie. I WILL ONLY WANT JOHN ENTWHISTLE'S BRAIN! NO ONE ELSE! This is one of my favorite drawings. I think it may be the best I've ever done.
