Lights close their tired eyes

No big pictures today because, well, these aren't very good. Or detailed. My first attempt at the tablet, though.

Ugh.

Anyway, school is back in session, so hopefully, you'll be able to see how well I work with direction. I'm sure updates here will suffer a bit.

Stiv's as done as he can be at this point. I'll be at school on Monday and probably unable to draw for myself for a while. He came out beautiful, though.

Experimenting with Stiv...

I didn't up the contrast on this one. Stiv is pretty much done; I still have to work on the background elements. After that, all the hand drawn elements will be finished and I'll scan this baby into Photoshop and add some filters and other effects (see below image).




I'm just trying to see what I can do with him. I'm also still debating whether or not to color this punk. I think I'd like a little bit of color. Desaturated.

Here he comes! It's hard to get the proper contrast with just a mechanical pencil (hurr hurr, I left all the good art supplies in another city), so expect some tinkering in Photoshop.

I'm torn between finishing this and taking my time; I think it looks pretty good so far, which is why I want to finish, but I also have the feeling that if I rush it, I'll fuck it up.
