Munly Munly

Hey kids! Sorry I've been away so long; I've decided to further my education, so that's been really consuming my free time. 

Here's a small quickie, done in maybe 40 minutes (I am starting to doubt whether I will ever get used to digital illustration). I have for you today a unique musician named Munly Jay Munly (though I first encountered his professional name "Jay Munly"). He's in a plethora of bands, I highly recommend you check out either his Jay Munly stuff or Slim Cessna's Auto Club. Or, well, pretty much whatever you can get your hands on.

He looks almost like a ghost...like he's barely there. His eyes are so deep-set, but they're ALIVE and his performances are nothing short of pentecostal.

Ehhhh and this is as good/finished as it’s going to get. Like I said earlier, I’m going to try my damnedest to not point out all the things I hate about it. Since you guys already know about the color issue, I’m going to mention that again. I did end up getting the kilt to look a bit muddier, but not much.

Urgh. Need to switch to digital drawing and painting. Anyone know some really decent tutorials about digital drawing? I can paint…decently (needs more practice), but I at least know how. Not too sure about digital sketching; I just end up making a mess
